MILE Event Recap – Strategic Planning for Ministries

On August 12th, 18 ministry leaders and key staff joined us for Strategic Planning for Ministries with Joe Calhoon, author of The 1 Hour Plan for Growth and Prioritize!. Joe led an engaging, hands-on session starting with Vision, Mission, and Values, then guided teams through identifying challenges and creating clear objectives, strategies, and priorities.

A crowd favorite was exploring how ChatGPT can enhance the planning process, with live examples tailored to the ministries in the room

Attendees gave the event top marks—100% said they’d recommend MILE events to friends and colleagues and were very or extremely satisfied with the event. One noted,“Joe was an amazing speaker,” while another shared, “Loved the attention to both the spiritual aspect and strategy of ministry work.”
