Radiant Church Serve Day

Turn Your Church’s Serve Day into Kingdom Impact!

Many churches organize annual Serve Days to mobilize their congregations and make a difference locally. These events can also support Christian nonprofit organizations connected with The Barnabas Group Kansas City.

Radiant Church offers one recent example. Its annual Serve Day connected volunteers with meaningful service opportunities at 10Barnabas-affiliated ministries. Volunteers completed practical projects, encouraged ministry leaders and learned more about their work.

The impact extended beyond the work itself. Volunteers discovered ministries they may not have known, while ministry leaders built relationships with potential volunteers, advocates, donors and prayer partners.

If your church holds a Serve Day, consider connecting its outreach leader with one or more Barnabas-affiliated ministries. Many have projects well suited for teams, including landscaping, painting, cleaning, organizing donations, preparing meals and basic repairs.

You can help by making an introduction, connecting ministry and church leaders, identifying a project and encouraging others to participate. Reach out to Tim Goddu, to connect with appropriate ministries for some volunteer opportunities
